Krampus

Some design work I did for the gingerbread men and the dark elves. They must have done a lot of rewrites because originally the elves had much more individual personalities. It was a really fun show to work on and I love how the movie turned out, even if they didn't make the cut.

Hunger Games Pt.2

Some work I did while in development for the third and fourth films. The prompt was for a subterranean lizard to take on Katniss and crew. The design ultimately took another direction, and was designed by my talented friend Luca Nemolato - Be sure to check out his work! I had a lot of fun on this.

Blacksad

I really do love the Blacksad comics, which was brought to my attention from my wife, who is a huge Blacksad fan.  The art style is incredible, and I definitely think the story lends to some pretty cinematic storytelling. As a fan of noir in general I pictured him as a Jack Nicholson type in Chinatown. The movie could be done by taking live actors and mapping their faces digitally.
